As you know, it’s important to be proactive about your HVAC system maintenance.
Well, now it’s become critical!
If you have not had an AC tune-up or maintenance system check, you should!
That way you know what kind of shape your HVAC system is in.
HVAC Supply Chain Issues Impact Product Availability
Currently, HVAC companies are experiencing a major backlog of HVAC Units and equipment.
If you are in need of a new HVAC unit, you’ll want to call your trusted HVAC expert ASAP to schedule your maintenance check or replacement now, as it could be a few weeks before the installation can take place depending on the available inventory.
The HVAC backlog is happening for a number of reasons:
- It’s summer and it’s hot (more hot than normal in many parts of the country)
- More people working and schooling from home creates more wear and tear
- Some HVAC manufacturers had to shut down production for weeks due to COVID-19
- Some HVAC manufacturers had to produce parts for front line workers (ie. ventilators, PPE).
- HVAC manufacturers currently facing staffing shortages
With higher demand this summer for HVAC units, along with less supply being available it is important for homeowners to be aware of this current challenge that the HVAC industry is working through.
A Triage Approach to Handle HVAC Installation Backlog
If you live in Arizona and more specifically the greater Phoenix area, our technicians are here to help get you the HVAC service, parts and installations as quickly as possible (under the current circumstances).
Due to the current restraints on the HVAC supply chain, we are triaging our HVAC installations. There are different degrees of urgency with each homeowner and we are looking to prioritize emergency HVAC installations first so we can keep people and families safe.
If you know you need to replace your AC system, the best thing you can do is call (480) 467-3586 or request an appointment online ASAP. Then one of our NATE Certified technicians will come out to your home to check your system, or perform a maintenance check (we continue to conduct a no-contact service calls). If we find you are in need of a new AC system we can get your name added to the installation list. That way you are in line for your new system.
Right now, we are reviewing each case to determine what the level of urgency is, so we can make sure we are helping all of our customers.
