As you know, it’s important to be proactive about your HVAC system maintenance.
Well, now it’s become critical!
If you have not had an AC tune-up or maintenance system check, you should!
That way you know what kind of shape your HVAC system is in.
HVAC Supply Chain Issues Impact Product Availability
Currently, HVAC companies are experiencing a major backlog of HVAC Units and equipment.
If you are in need of a new HVAC unit, you’ll want to call your trusted HVAC expert ASAP to schedule your maintenance check or replacement now, as it could be a few weeks before the installation can take place depending on the available inventory.
The HVAC backlog is happening for a number of reasons:
- It’s summer and it’s hot (more hot than normal in many parts of the country)
- More people have been working and schooling from home which creates more wear and tear
- Some HVAC manufacturers had to shut down production due to COVID-19
- Some HVAC manufacturers had to produce medical parts or products over the past 12 months (ie. ventilators, PPE)
- Some HVAC manufacturers are facing staffing shortages
With higher demand this summer for HVAC units, along with less supply being available it is important for homeowners to be aware of this current challenge that the HVAC industry is working through.
